If you or someone you know needs assistance, there are programs and resources available to help. You may qualify for financial assistance to pay your energy bill, funds for AC repair or replacement, eviction prevention support and more. Learn about assistance options that can help make a difference for you.
Crisis Bill Assistance
Customers facing a temporary financial hardship may qualify for up to $1,000 in bill assistance through our partners like Wildfire, Chicanos Por La Causa, and Maricopa County Human Services.
Learn how to apply.Energy Support Program
Customers may qualify for up to 25% or 60% discount on their monthly energy bill based on household income. And if you have a SNAP benefits card, it can be used to enroll more quickly in our Energy Support program (up to 25% bill discount) without having to provide your household income.
APS CARE
Customers can receive up to $500 in bill assistance in partnership with The Salvation Army, regardless of income. To expand this donation program, we are matching the total of all contributions made – up to $500,000 – January 1 through December 31, 2026.

Customers with life-threatening illnesses or using medical equipment in their home may qualify for up to 35% or 60% discount on their monthly energy bill based on household income.
AC Repair or Replacement
Limited income homeowners may qualify for financial help to fix or replace broken air conditioner units through our partners: AllThrive365 covers La Paz, Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai, or Yuma counties; and Wildfire’s program covers all of Arizona.
Eviction Prevention Support
Customers facing a housing crisis may qualify for assistance through our partner St. Vincent de Paul to help them stay safe in their homes.
Food Support through Our Local Partners
Customers in need of food assistance can rely on our food bank partners.

LIHEAP
The Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) works with Community Action Programs (CAPs) and other local providers to lower energy costs for those struggling to pay their energy bills. Learn More.
Weatherization
Under this program, limited income customers may qualify for free energy-efficient home improvements, such as extra insulation and A/C maintenance, to help you save energy and money. Learn More.
2-1-1 Arizona
The 2-1-1 state program serves as Arizona’s main hotline for health and human services information. Dial 211 to find community agencies and resources in your area that can assist you with paying your energy bills. Learn more.
