Our Community Partnerships

Beyond our traditional giving programs, we collaborate with like-minded organizations to strengthen local communities. Together, we are moving Arizona forward.

These programs are funded by APS shareholders and not included in customer rates.

Volunteerism - the Power to Connect

Support comes in many forms. Our employees engage with communities in more meaningful ways, like volunteering more than 120,000 hours in the community to connect with others and make a difference. That’s also a $2.65-million impact on organizations based in communities where our customers, employees and families live and work.

Board Service

Our employees serve on more than 300 boards, commissions and service organizations across Arizona, providing leadership and support at the state and local level. We support our employees and retirees so they can lend their considerable skills and time to worthy organizations.

Leading the Way

One of the most impactful investments we make in our future is nurturing the incredible talent within our state. Through our support of numerous organizations including the African American Leadership Institute, Asian Corporate and Entrepreneurial Leaders, Hispanic Leadership Institute, and Indigenous Leadership Academy, we are empowering future leaders to more effectively address community challenges and unlock Arizona’s full potential for long-term, shared prosperity.
