​We know that moving is a lot of work, and arranging  your electric service is one of many activities on a “to do” list. Make it a little easier by starting, stopping or transferring your APS service online.

It's best to provide at least three working days notice (Monday-Friday) for starting service.

A $25 plus tax service establishment charge will appear on your first bill.

We may ask you to pay a deposit before turning on service.

After you complete your request, we will send you a confirmation email, which will include your order details.

 For your protection, we may ask you to show your picture id in an office.

 

 



stop service

It is best to provide at least three working days notice (Monday-Friday) for stopping service.

There is no fee for stopping service.
After you submit your request, we will send you a confirmation email, which will include your order details.

If someone is moving in to your home, they will need to contact us to put service into their name.

You can schedule a shut off to make sure you are not responsible for the bills after your move out date.

You can request a letter of credit to provide to your new utility company.

After 24 hours, you can check the status of your online order. You'll need your order confirmation number and the email address you provided when you placed your order. If you placed your order over the phone, call 602-371-7171 (Phoenix area) or 800-253-9405 (other areas) to check on your order.​​
