Customers across our state depend on us all year long to keep the lights on. By continually investing in the energy grid with upgrades and enhancements, we ensure you have access to clean, reliable and affordable power whenever you need it.

Project Description
Overhead power line construction will be taking place in the vicinity of Salt Mine Road and Vail Road in Camp Verde, Arizona. Construction will begin February 28, 2022, and is estimated to be completed by April 11, 2022. APS and approved contractor crews will be upgrading the existing overhead conductor beginning at the intersection of W. Salt Mine Road and Rio Verde Lane, west to Vail Road and continuing south along Vail Road for an approximate distance of 1 mile. The reconductoring of this overhead line will allow for greater reliability as the Camp Verde area continues to grow economically.

Work will take place during normal working hours Monday-Saturday. Crews will work to minimize disturbances from equipment and personnel where possible.

Project Planning
While it is always our goal to avoid any disruptions to your daily routine, we may need to schedule a planned power outage to safely remove the existing equipment. We will communicate with you in advance of any planned outages. There may also be noise from construction activities, such as back-up alarms.

Please help us maintain a safe work environment for you, your community and our employees by proceeding with caution through work areas and understanding there may be increased traffic in the affected areas.
