Considering installing a rooftop solar system on your home? It’s a big decision and just like any home modification it is important to do your research. We want to make sure all of your questions are answered before you go solar and we’re here to help. As a recognized solar leader among utilities in the United States, we can offer some pointers.

We find that many customers want to know how to start the solar sales process and how to find an installer with integrity. After all, some deals sound too good to be true. ​If you decide to move forward with your project, click the “Installers” tab for a list of Arizona-based installers who are participants in our Qualified Solar Sales & Installation (QSSI) program.  These local contractors have experience working with solar and other advanced technologies and are in good standing with both the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
 
QSSI installers undergo a course that includes design and installation of solar systems paired with energy-saving technologies like battery storage. Plus, the installers will be trained on sales ethics and interconnection best practices to ensure the solar system on your home is installed with attention to safety.

All of the installers listed here meet the requirements of our Qualified Solar Sales & Installation program.  Installers  receive training on advanced technology design, installation, and sales best practices.  They also learn about APS rates and how solar works with other distributed resource technologies like smart thermostats, battery storage systems, and more to save you energy.  All of these installers are Arizona-based companies, and in good standing with both the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Don’t forget, you should always get at least three bids.
