The APS Electric Light Parade is a holiday
tradition the whole family can enjoy. For more than 30 years, this glittering
nighttime parade has kicked off the holiday season by illuminating the streets
of central Phoenix with displays featuring hundreds of thousands of twinkling
With as many as 150,000 people lining
the sidewalks along the parade route, the APS Electric Light Parade is the largest
free, single-day family event in the state. Festive holiday-themed floats
decorated with shimmering lights will be joined by giant balloon characters,
Santa and his sleigh, marching bands, dancers and the APS Clown Troupe.
31st annual APS Electric Light Parade begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. The
parade route starts at Bethany Home Road and travels south down Central Avenue
before finishing up at Indian School Road and 7th Street. We hope to see you and
