ways to keep cool in summer
As summer temperatures climb, it’s the perfect time to keep cool with some of our partner organizations across the state:
  • The Heard Museum—Enjoy the “Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera” exhibit that includes 33 works by two of the most important and recognizable artists of the 20th century.
  • Arizona Science Center—Explore the year-round hands-on exhibits and displays, plus a new exhibition of artwork called “Reimagined Trash” in partnership with the City of Phoenix.
  • Phoenix Art Museum—Check out “Good Sport” which pays homage to the celebrated rites and rituals of athletic pursuits and their depiction in works of art throughout the ages.
Looking for options outside of the Valley?
For Northern Arizona, consider visiting the Flagstaff Arboretum, the Museum of Northern Arizona or Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott.
In Southern Arizona, keep cool at the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum, Yuma Children’s Museum or the Yuma Art Center.
The summer is a great time to experience the beautiful state we live in.
