community corner: celebrating arizona's natural beauty
Arizonans are no strangers to the stunning sunsets and beauty of our state. The conservation of our natural habitat is a responsibility we all share.
Our dedication to the environment has allowed us to partner with non-profit organizations such as the McDowell Sonoran Land Conservancy, the Nature Conservancy, the Grand Canyon Foundation and the newly-formed White Tanks Conservancy. Our support is contributing to the preservation of our natural habitat and wildlife for generations to come.
We are working with the Desert Botanical Garden to not only create a new butterfly pavilion, but to highlight and support Bruce Munro: Sonoran Light. This nightly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden showcases eight large-scale, light-based installations using an inventive array of materials and hundreds of miles of glowing fiber optics. Located throughout the Garden, the exhibition reflects British artist Bruce Munro’s interpretation of the Sonoran Desert.
Join the celebration of the beauty of Arizona at Bruce Munro: Sonoran Light at the Desert Botanical Garden running through May 8. Please visit dbg.org for more information.
