Renewable Energy Education and Outreach

APS is engaged in Renewable Energy programs and for more than 25 years has been a national leader in solar research and development for the generation of electricity. APS offers an educational and outreach program making it easy to participate in learning about the development of emerging technologies. APS Solar Power Plants

Currently, APS solar power plants are producing emissions-free, environmentally friendly power throughout APS' service territory.

Solar Programs 

APS offers two partnership programs to help support the adoption of renewable energy in Arizona- APS Solar Partners^® Incentive Program (formerly the EPS Credit Purchase Program)* and APS Green Choice Rate Program.. 

APS Solar Partners® Incentive Program
APS offers financial incentives to customers (residential and commercial) who install qualified solar systems.     

APS Green Choice Rate Program
Green Choice Program members, using their current service, choose to meet part of their home or business' power needs with renewable energy.

*The program name was changed to better reflect the nature and goals of the program.
