A series of color posters displaying basic information on Solar, Wind, Biomass, Biogas, and Geothermal energy sources.

Presentations

Classroom presentations on Renewable Energy topics.

  • Renewable Energy Sources:  Two general overviews of Renewable Energy sources and how they are used to make electricity.  One presentation has content appropriate for 4th grade students and the other for 6th grade students.
  • Solar Energy, Geothermal Energy, Wind Energy, Biomass Energy, Biogas Energy and Hydropower: A series of six presentations with a more in-depth look at Renewable Energy sources and applications

Passport to Renewable Energy

A scavenger hunt using the graphic information contained in the posters and the Renewable Energy Sources presentation to encourage both individual and group participation. A Passport complete with answers is also available.

Worksheets

Question sheets about Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Biomass, and Biogas energy based on the energy source presentations. An overview question sheet covering all the presentations is available.  Also included is a Renewable Energy Word Search game with answer sheet.

Fact Sheets

One-page informational sheets describing Renewable Energy technologies and the latest innovations used to make electricity from Renewable Energy sources.

Project Sol
