 APS Solar Partners® Rate Program - Frozen (formerly Solar Partners®) On June 19, 2007, the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) issued a decision which approved APS' general rate case application. As part of that decision, the APS Solar Partners Rate Program (formerly Solar Partners) was frozen on July 1, 2007. We are committed to smart investments in renewable energy, which is why we offer two green rate options. All customers are invited to participate in APS' Green Choice Program. As a Green Choice member, you choose how much of the energy you use is produced from renewable resources. A small premium is added to your normal monthly charges. This is a convenient, affordable way to help preserve the environment while providing for a secure energy source for our future. APS also offers financial incentives to residential and commercial customers who install qualified solar systems through our Renewable Incentive Program. While the APS Solar Partners Rate Program is no longer accepting new participants, existing participants continue to take advantage of the sun here in Arizona, and help protect the environment while enjoying the continued reliability of APS power. APS' three largest APS Solar Partners® Rate Program participants are the City of Scottsdale (3,375 kWh per month), ST Microelectronics (3,000 kWh per month) and KNXV TV 15 (2,850 kWh per month).
