APS is helping lead the change toward sustainable energy solutions in the innovative Community Power Project^SM in the Doney Park area of Flagstaff. In this project, APS owns, maintains and receives the energy generated by solar panels installed on customer roof-tops. Customers who participate in the Community Power ProjectSM are helping create solar power and they will save on their electric bills over time. Flagstaff will be powered by more renewable energy than ever before. Results from the project will help APS make renewable solar energy a viable part of our energy future, benefiting the participants, the local community, the solar industry and APS.

Applications to participate in this project were accepted from July 2010 through September 2011. We are no longer accepting applications.
