Time Advantage 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. Rate Plan

If you use more energy on weekends, late evening or early morning hours, the Time Advantage 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. plan may be best for you. This plan does, however, require unassisted access to your meter.

• Electricity used during off-peak hours costs less on this plan.
  
  
• If you are a Standard plan customer who lives in a home that is 1,100 sq. ft. or larger, typically use more than 1,000 kWh/month, and can shift 60 percent or more of your energy use to off-peak hours, you can lower your bill through the Time Advantage 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. plan.
  
  
•  Your savings will increase as the percentage of electricity you use during these hours increases.

The Time Advantage 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. plan may be best for you when:

• The APS meter readers have safe on-going unlimited access and can physically touch the meter each month.
  
  
• You're not home during the day or you have low daytime electricity use.
  
  
• You can operate your major electric appliances (water heater, pool pump, spa heater) with a timer set to run only during off-peak hours.
  
   
• You use your dishwasher, washer, dryer and range mostly during off-peak hours.
  
     
• You can set your air conditioning thermostat to a warmer temperature during on-peak hours.

As with all of our residential rate plans, you should remain on this plan for one year.
