APS warns customers of fraud
APS has received reports of individuals misrepresenting themselves to customers as APS employees to gain entry to a customer’s home. APS customers have also reported contractors selling renewable energy and energy-saving equipment claiming their company was affiliated with APS. Read more about protecting yourself from fraud.

APS Employees, Salvation Army, Phoenix PD and Park Rangers help the homeless
This summer, the Salvation Army has teamed with the Phoenix Police Department and Phoenix Park Rangers to operate nine hydration stations and other mobilized units around the Valley that provide cold water, respite and information or assistance to the Valley’s homeless. APS employees have been helping keep the water flowing by contributing water bottles and money to purchase water bottles. To date APS employees have donated more than 6,000 bottles of water and there are still weeks of hot weather to come. If you would like to help, please contact the Salvation Army at (602) 267-4170.

Rebates of up to $525 for new AC
If your AC unit breaks down this summer and is in need of extensive repairs, it may be more cost effective to replace it with a new one. APS is offering rebates of up to $525 on new higher-efficiency AC units, when they are installed by an APS Qualified Contractor in accordance with the APS Quality Installation standards. Learn more about APS AC Rebates.

Go paperless, save a tree, make bill paying more convenient
Most of us know reducing paper use saves trees, but other advantages of turning off your paper bill and switching to electronic billing are:

  • E-mail notifications when your bill is ready to view.
  • Online access to your statements and account and usage history.
  • Reduced possibility of mail fraud and identity theft.

Go paperless!

Rebates cut the cost of going solar by more than half
There has never been a better time to purchase a solar system or solar water heater for your home. When you combine the generous APS rebates with federal and state tax credits of 30 percent and 25 percent respectively (Arizona state tax credit is capped at $1,000), well over half of the cost of your solar panel system can be paid for. And, when you install a new solar water heater, federal and state tax credits combined with APS rebates can cover up to 80 percent of the cost of your new system.
