AutoPay vs. SurePay

Program Description

Billing Availability:
Printed, Electronic, or Both

AutoPay*
  • Sign up online to have payment automatically deducted from your bank account on due date of bill.
  • To sign up for the program, register your account on aps.com. You can access the AutoPay link on the My Account Page to the right.
  • You can modify, edit or delete your payment through your registered account. (If your payment is made 15 days past the due date, a delinquent fee may be assessed).
  • You can update your bank account information online.
  • You cannot be on both SurePay and AutoPay at the same time.
Electronic Only
SurePay*
  • Manual form process giving your bank authorization to transfer the amount of your monthly electric bills to your APS account.
  • To sign up for the program, fill out and mail in a SurePay application*, along with voided check or deposit slip.You can request a hold on a payment by contacting the Customer Care Center at  (602) 371-7171 or (800) 253-9405.We can place a hold on your payment for the month as long as we receive a 24 hour notification prior to the transmission occurring (if the payment is scheduled for Monday and request is made on a weekend, we are unable to hold).
  •  To update bank account information, you will need to fill out a new SurePay application*and mail with a voided check or deposit slip.
  • You cannot be on both SurePay and AutoPay at the same time.
