Ever clicked on an aps.com hyperlink and had nothing happen? It may be that pop-up blocking software is hindering a new Web browser window from opening. Sometimes pop-up blocking is turned on by default or as part of security software.
Pop-up windows can be annoying when multiple pop-up advertisements appear after going to a site or when clicking on a hyperlink within a site. While aps.com would never use pop-up technology in this way, we do display some customer data, all Web surveys and all PDF files as new pop-up windows. We also open hyperlinks to all Web sites outside of aps.com as new windows, which is a common practice.
Pop-up blockers can also prevent hyperlinks received within an e-mail from APS from working properly.
If you use pop-up blocking software, please modify it to allow new pop-up windows to be opened while you’re browsing aps.com or viewing e-mail received from aps@aps.com or apsmail@apsc.com. Consult your software’s Help file, or call its support phone number. Internet Explorer and other software allow you to turn off pop-up blocking either for a specific instance, or on a per site basis.
