Frequently Asked Questions about My Account

How do I change my bank account information?
Log into your APS account and choose Payment Options. Next go to Manage Payment Account Information and click on edit to update. Once your information has been updated, submit.

I am moving out of State, how do I cancel my account?
Log on to aps.com. On the home page you can access Turn Off (service), fill in the form and submit. Once APS receives the request, please allow us up to three working days to complete the order. It is important you provide a forwarding address to receive your final bill.

How do I change my mailing address?
Log into your APS account and choose My Profile on the left-hand (navigation) and click on billing address. You can type in your new address, and the effective date you want the change to take place (up to 60 days in advance). Submit the form, and your address will be updated within 3-5 business days.

How do I change my phone number?
Log into your APS account and choose My Profile on the left-hand (navigation) and click on phone number(s). You can type over the old phone number, and click on update. 

How do I change my name on the account?
If you would like to change the name on your account, please contact our Customer Care Center at (602) 371-7171 in the Phoenix area, or (800) 253-9405.

How do I update my e-mail address?
Log into your APS account, choose My Profile on the left-hand (navigation). Click on e-mail address, enter new e-mail address, and submit.

Can I change my username?
You cannot change or delete your username. If you forgot your username, click on Forgot Username or Password on the home page. Once all steps are completed, your username will be displayed.


I want to change my password.
Log into your APS account and choose My Profile on the left-hand (navigation). Click on password. You will be prompted to enter your old password, and new password, then submit to make the change.

I forgot my password.
On the home page click on Forgot Username or Password. Enter your username, choose the reminder question and answer it correctly, and enter your e-mail address. Once you reset your password, you can log onto your account.

On the home page click on Forgot Username or Password. Enter your APS account number and mailing zip code. Choose your reminder question and answer it correctly, enter personal identifying information, and e-mail address. Your username will be displayed, and give you the option to reset your password, or enter your previous password.
