Rate Plans – E-34 

The E-34 Rate Plan is designed for larger businesses. 

If your business’ monthly demand is 3,000 kilowatts or greater for three consecutive months, you're probably enrolled in the E-34 Rate Plan. This includes large businesses, such as manufacturing plants, large office buildings or shopping malls. 

This rate plan is tailored to the way larger businesses use energy. 

Here are the components of the E-34 Rate Plan: 

• The E-34 Rate Plan includes a demand charge. Demand is the highest amount of electricity used in a 15-minute interval during the billing period.
• There is a discount on demand charges if your site is metered at the primary level. For further information and to determine if you would benefit from this program please contact us, or call the Customer Care Center at (602) 371-6767 or (800) 253-9407.
• The cost of your actual energy use for the month (kWh). See example.
• Cost of electricity is dependent on the time of year.
