When you sign up for APS service, you may be asked to pay a deposit. The deposit will be 2.5 times your business’ estimated maximum monthly billing.
If you placed a deposit, your account(s) will be reviewed after 24 months of service. At that time, you may be eligible to have some or all of the deposit refunded. Factors that will be considered are delinquencies and financial condition of your business.
A deposit will earn interest effective with the date it is posted to the account, however, the interest is not paid until the deposit has been on the account for a minimum of 6 months.
If your bill payments are delinquent two or more times in a six-month period, or your service is disconnected for non-payment, a security deposit or additional security deposit may be required.
