| The Solutions for Business program offers a tuition discount (up to 50 percent) on approved courses to program Trade Allies and to APS non-residential customers whose job relates to their company's energy use. |
APS Technical Training Series These workshops will help business owners, facilities staff and others make informed decisions about energy efficiency improvements. The trainings are held in the Phoenix-metro area, unless otherwise noted. Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops.
Benchmarking with ENERGY STAR® September 28, 2010 Benchmarking sets a baseline for measuring and evaluating results from energy saving improvements. This interactive class will show property managers, facility managers, maintenance staff and building engineers how to start the benchmarking process using the free, online ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. You will learn how your building’s energy use compares to similar buildings and gain tips for achieving ENERGY STAR building certification. .
Energy Information Services (EIS) User Conference October 20, 2010 Are you interested in learning how to track and manage your energy use, or are you ready to earn your "Master's" in EIS? Over breakfast, APS customers can learn how to take advantage of the Energy Information Service available to APS customers.
For those who have already contracted an EIS system, stay for the day and master advanced uses for the software. Cody Graves, President of Automated Energy, will coach you on turning knowledge into power savings. Internet access will be provided to enable live use of your account during class. Class is free for APS non-residential customers, RSVP's required at aps.com/business rebates.
Specialty & Outdoor Lighting: Beyond Fluorescents November 17, 2010 APS experts on outdoor lighting research will present findings on new technologies. They will discuss advancements in LED and other outdoor lighting technologies that are quickly becoming more cost-effective options.
