From waste water treatment to water production and distribution, pumps are busy working behind the scenes. APS offers a variety of incentive options for pump system improvements. A prescriptive incentive is available per hp for motor replacement or VFD installation. A custom incentive is offered for other improvements such as impeller trimming.

Technical Assistance: Complimentary Testing
The APS Pump Testing initiative is offered free of charge to commercial customers to determine if their pumps are performing at optimal capacity and to make cost-effective recommendations for needed repairs. When testing is complete, customers will receive the results including a brief analysis of the potential energy-efficiency and cost benefits of system improvements needed. The information will also highlight relevant program rebates.

• To qualify your pump must be operating on an eligible APS rate (such as E32 or E221); be 15 hp or greater in size; have a load factor of 40 percent or greater; have not been tested under this initiative in the past 24 months.
