APS Offers ASU, Maricopa Community College Scholarships February 17, 2010 Applications are being accepted for APS-sponsored scholarships at Maricopa Community Colleges, Arizona State University (ASU) and ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business at the West Campus for the 2010-2011 school year. To be eligible, applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be an Arizona resident and have financial need. Maricopa Community Colleges There are 25 scholarships of $1,000 – $500 per semester – available for students attending Maricopa Community Colleges. The scholarships will be awarded to those eligible in three categories:
All applicants must be a high school senior or current Maricopa Community College student in the field of engineering, information technology or trades and crafts. The deadline is March 26. Arizona State University There are 10 scholarships of up to $2,000 - $1,000 per semester – available for students attending ASU. The scholarships will be awarded to those eligible in two categories:
All applicants must be in the field of engineering, information technology or business. The deadline is March 1. ASU West – W.P. Carey School of Business Five scholarships of about $2,000 each – about $1,000 per semester – are available for students pursuing a baccalaureate degree at ASU West. All applicants must be in the field of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or finance. The deadline is April 30.
