APS Offers Maricopa Community Colleges Scholarships

Phoenix, AZ  -   Applications are being accepted for APS-sponsored scholarships at Maricopa Community Colleges for the 2008-2009 school year.

To be eligible, applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be an Arizona resident, be enrolled in at least nine credit hours per semester and demonstrate financial need.

Students attending Maricopa Community Colleges are eligible for one of 25 scholarships of $1,000 ($500 per semester). The application deadline is 4 p.m., March 31.

Applicants must be a high school senior or MCC student studying engineering, business, information technology, trade and crafts, education or health care.
