APS Solar & Renewable Incentive Program

APS customers now have more options, and more incentives, than ever to help take advantage of the many renewable energy resources available in Arizona.

Renewable resources like the sun, wind, geo-thermal, biomass and bio-gas are playing an ever-increasing role in creating the energy we need to power our homes and businesses help grow our economy. And with APS rebates and available federal and state tax credits, renewable energy is more affordable than ever.

Incentives are available on a first come, first served basis* for systems installed in the APS service area**. Amounts vary based on the type of technology used and the scope of your project. For descriptions of available incentives see the Residential or Non-Residential incentive charts.

Financing or lease options may also be available from your installer or financial institution to help lower the upfront cost of your installation.

Available APS Incentives - residential and non-residential customers:

• Solar
  
• Wind
  
• Geothermal

The following incentives are available to non-residential customers only:

• Biogas and Biomass
  
• Hydro
  
• Other

Renewable energy projects that do not fall into the above categories may also be considered for incentives. Please contact us for more information regarding program eligibility.

If you will be connecting to the APS grid, you will need to follow these interconnection instructions whether you are taking advantage of the APS Incentive Program or not.

*An annual spending cap and energy production target has been set for each year of the program. Based on  current results, we are still accepting applications to reserve funding for projects.
