APS Renewable Energy Rate Options

EPR-6 Net Metering Rate
On the EPR-6 Rate, your bill is based on the net amount of energy used.

  • We credit your account for the power produced by your system that is not used by your home or business in kilowatt-hours (kWh) each billing cycle.

  • This reduces the amount of electricity you buy from us -- kWh-for-kWh -- reducing your monthly energy costs.

  • Credits remaining at the end of the year or when service is shut off will be paid to the customer on a cents/kWh basis.

EPR-5 Net Metering Pilot Program
The EPR-5 Pilot Program will remain available until July 1, 2010. Customers on this rate at that time will be automatically switched to the EPR-6 Net Metering Rate.

On the EPR-5 Rate, your bill is based on the net amount of energy used.

  • We credit your account for the power produced by your system that is not used by your home or business in kilowatt-hours (kWh) each billing cycle.

  • This reduces the amount of electricity you buy from us -- kWh-for-kWh -- reducing your monthly energy costs.

  • Credits remaining on your last monthly bill in the calendar year or at the time you shut off service will be zeroed out without payment.

EPR-2
On the EPR-2 Rate, you receive a cents/kwh credit on your bill for any excess kWh's that are produced by your system and sent back to the APS grid. The credit/kWh is based on the standard purchase rate.
