1. EPR-2
If you were previously enrolled on the EPR-2 or EPR-4 rate plan you have been automatically moved to our revised EPR-2 rate plan. The revised EPR-2 rate automatically increases the rate APS pays for energy it purchases from you.
There is nothing you need to do to enroll in the revised EPR-2 rate.
2. Optional EPR-5 Net Metering Rate
We also are inaugurating an optional pilot program, EPR-5. This three-year program affords our renewable energy customers with qualifying generating systems less than 100 kilowatts (kW) the advantage of net metering.
When enrolled in this program, we credit your account for the power produced by your system that is not used by your home or business in kilowatt-hours (kWh) each billing cycle. This reduces the amount of electricity you buy from us -- kWh-for-kWh -- reducing your monthly energy costs.
Compare the tariffs and pricing of the EPR-2 and EPR-5 rates.
If desired, sign up for the EPR-5 rate program online.
