Transmission and Facility Siting - Completed Projects

Transmission Line Project

The Arizona Corporation Commission granted APS a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) for this project on May 5, 2005. APS is currently identifying substation locations and right-of-way alignments within the certificated corridor. APS expects to begin the process of acquiring the necessary land rights in 2006. This project is expected to be in service between 2007 and 2008. Click on the documents below for a history of the project and to view the certificated corridor.
