Transmission and Facility Siting - Completed Projects

North Valley 230kV
Transmission Line Project

The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) granted APS a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) on June 10, 2003 for this project.

On February 13, 2007 the ACC granted APS a CEC for the TS-9 to Pinnacle Peak 500kV/230kV Project. The TS-9 Project incorporates a significant portion of the North Valley 230kV facilities, along with new 500kV facilities, and will be constructed along the same general alignment that was approved for the North Valley Project.

The CEC and approved corridor for the TS-9 Project is attached below under latest news and project maps. Please review Condition 29 and the project description contained in the TS-9 CEC for details on the project. For additional information and project history on the TS-9 project view the TS-9 to Pinnacle Peak web page.

Please send us your comments or call APS Facility Siting at (602) 493-4446 for more information on the project.
