Transmission and Facility Siting - Completed Projects

West Valley South 230kv
Transmission Line Project

The Arizona Corporation Commission granted APS a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) for this project on December 22, 2003. Construction of the line from TS-3 (now called Palm Valley Substation) to the south was completed in 2007.  APS is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary rights-of-way within the certificated corridor between the TS-2 and TS-3 sites. This project is currently planned for completion in 2015. Click on the documents below for a history of the project and to view the certificated route corridor and approved CEC.

Please send us your comments or call APS Facility Siting at (602)-493-4200 for more information on the project.
