Our service plans have a variety of benefits depending on how you use energy. Compare them and find out which one is right for you.

 

when you use less energy
This plan helps those who use less energy save money. It doesn’t matter what time of day you use electricity, you’re billed at a single rate.
 
best if you 
  • use 1,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) or less each month
  • live in a home or apartment that is 1,110 square feet or less
  • don’t have a swimming pool or spa that’s electrically heated
low daytime energy use
This plan is best if you don’t use much energy during on-peak periods (noon – 7 p.m., Monday - Friday).
 
best if you 
  • use 1,000 kWh or more each month-aren’t home during the day or don’t use much energy during on-peak periods
  • use your dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and range more during off-peak hours-use your major electric appliances (water heater, pool pump, spa heater) during off-peak hours
  • have a programmable thermostat or can set your AC to a warmer temperature during on-peak hours
  • limited summer energy use
    Can you use more energy during off-peak hours and significantly limit energy use during the summer between 3 and 6 p.m., Monday – Friday? If you answered “yes”, this plan’s for you.
     
    best if you 
    • use 1,000 kWh or more each month
    • use your dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and range more during off-peak hours
    • use your major appliances (water heater, pool pump, spa heater) during off-peak hours
    • have a programmable thermostat or can set your AC to a warmer temperature during on-peak and super-peak hours
    more weekend energy use
    Can you use more energy on weekends and weekday mornings before noon or evenings after 7 p.m.? And can you stagger your use of major appliances during on-peak hours? If you answered “yes”, consider this plan.
     
    best if you 
    • use 1,000 kWh or more each month
    • use your dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and range more during off-peak hours
    • can use more energy during off-peak hours and use a timer to run major appliances (water heater, pool pump, spa heater)
    • have a programmable thermostat or can set your AC to a warmer temperature during on-peak hours
    • can stagger your use of major appliances during on-peak hours so you’re not using them simultaneously
    get credit for unused energy
    Using solar energy? We offer 2 buy-back rates for the solar energy you don’t use.
     
    epr-6 net metering
    Generate a portion of your own energy and you can reduce your monthly energy costs. 
       
    epr-2 net billing
    We’ll credit your account on a cents/kWh basis for any excess kWhs your system produces that are sent back to our grid. The credit/kWh is based on the standard purchase rate.
    lower energy use between 9 am & 9 pm
    we are not accepting new application for this frozen plan.
    This plan is best if you don’t use much energy during on-peak periods (9 am – 9 p.m., Monday - Friday).

    • This rate is frozen.
       
      If you are on this rate, you may consider the Time Advantage 7 pm - noon plan. It has more on-peak hours and may offer added convenience with the same great savings.
       
      Unlike the Time Advantage 7 pm - noon plan, the Time Advantage 9 pm - 9 am plan does not include 6 off-peak holidays each year.

      We are not accepting new applications for this frozen plan.

      If you are on this rate, you may consider the Combined Advantage 7 pm - noon plan. It has more on-peak hours and may offer added convenience with the same great savings.
       
      Unlike the Combined Advantage 7 pm - noon plan, the Combined Advantage 9 pm- 9 am plan does not include 6 off-peak holidays each year.
