You should not attempt to prune any vegetation growing on or near any overhead power lines. Only specially-trained line clearing professionals should work around energized lines.
However, if trees or other vegetation interfere with the wires between your home and an APS power pole, the pruning is the customer’s responsibility.
On April 1, 2005, the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) approved the language in Schedule 1 Terms and Conditions.
