On and Off-peak Hours for Time-of-Use Rates

When you've chosen any of the Time Advantage or Combined Advantage plans, it is best to shift more of your energy use to off-peak hours when it's less expensive.

9 p.m. - 9 a.m. Rate Plans

Time Advantage 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.
&
Combined Advantage 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.

 

Off-peak Hours (less expensive):

  • Weekdays - Monday through Friday, 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.      
  • Weekends - 9 p.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Monday  

Off-peak hours remain in effect during holidays.





On-peak Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

On-peak hours remain in effect during holidays.

7 p.m. - Noon Rate Plans

Time Advantage 7 p.m. - Noon
&
Combined Advantage 7 p.m. - Noon

 

Off-peak Hours (less expensive):

  • Weekdays – Monday through Friday, 7 p.m. to noon
  • Weekends – 7 p.m. Friday through noon Monday

The following six holidays are also off-peak hours all day: New Year's Day*, Memorial Day, Independence Day*, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day*.
* Note: If this holiday falls on a Sat., the preceding Fri. will be off-peak. If it falls on a Sun., the following Mon. will be off-peak.

On-peak Hours:
  • Monday through Friday, noon to 7 p.m. 

On-peak hours remain in effect for all holidays that are not listed above in the off-peak section.
