Temporary Service Charges

Where no construction of primary distribution lines and/or installation of transformers are required and service of the desired voltage and phase is available, the cost for providing temporary secondary voltage service shall be as follows:

Connect or meter set only, then the current service establishment charge is applicable.

Pre-wired meter loop and/or pedestal set within 10 feet of underground transformer or junction box (source) and Customer provides trench to source (see Company Electric Service Requirements manual section 500); Company will excavate under the source, install conduit sweep, connect Customer’s wires in the source, and install the meter for a charge of $368. In addition there will be a service establishment charge plus sales tax on the first monthly bill.

If Company provides any wire up to 75' in customer provided and installed conduit then the charge is $608. In addition, there will be a service establishment charge plus sales taxes on the first monthly bill. If service wires distance exceeds 75' an additional $3.20 per foot for 1/0A wire should be assessed.

Single phase 2 or 3 wire overhead temporary service; Company will install up to a 90-foot service and meter for a charge of $528. In addition, there will be a service establishment charge plus sales tax on the first monthly bill.

Overhead or underground three-phase service is to be estimated on an individual basis.
