Transmission and Facility Siting - Current Projects TS-5 TO TS-9 500kV/230kV Transmission Line Project ACC APPROVES CERTIFICATE OF ENVIRONMENTAL COMPATIBILITY
On March 4, 2009 the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) voted four to one to approve the Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) as recommended by the Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee. The Commission made only one minor change in the CEC regarding the route crossing at SR-74 and 163rd Ave. APS will now move forward in working with the Bureau of Land Management on processing a Right of Way on federal lands in the area of SR-74. A copy of the final executed CEC is provided under the latest information below.
