Completed siting projects are those projects that have been approved to move forward with construction. Projects listed below may be in pre-construction or construction phases of development.
The projects listed on this page have completed the public process. In addition, The EHV and HV projects listed on this page have completed the public process and have received approval from the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) to move forward.
Select the projects below to review the project maps and newsletters that show the selected routes, approved corridors and facility locations. Projects with a substation name in parenthesis (sample) are those for which the facility has been renamed since the public siting process was completed.
A number of these projects contain multiple elements and have varying in-service dates. Check each project to review power lines and facilities that have been sited but that may not yet have been constructed.
A public web site has been created that maps all transmission corridors that have been permitted by the ACC but not yet constructed. This site gathers information from each utility in Arizona and allows for viewing all projects in one common location.
