The Arizona Department of Real Estate requires disclosure of any existing or proposed high voltage (HV) power lines or substations (115kV or higher) within a subdivision boundary or within 1/2 mile of a subdivision boundary.
We have developed this site to provide assistance in determining whether APS facilities are within or located near your subdivision.
Existing Transmission Facilities
To determine whether existing facilities are near your area, please contact your area APS Representative.

Proposed or Sited Transmission and Substation Facilities
To meet increasing demand, APS is currently in the process of siting transmission lines throughout the state and metro area.
Additionally, several APS siting projects have completed the public process and have been approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission. Extra High Voltage (EHV, 500kV) and High Voltage (HV, 115kV and above) require Arizona Corporation Commission approval.
A number of these projects contain multiple elements and have varying in-service dates. Check each project to review power lines and facilities that have been sited but that may not yet have been constructed.
To view current or completed facility siting projects that may fall near or within your area, select your specific area from the listing below:
Phoenix Metro Area
Northwestern Arizona (I-17 West and I-10 North to Arizona Border)
Southwestern Arizona (I-10 West and South to Arizona Border, incl. Yuma)
Northeastern Arizona (I-17 East and US60 North to Arizona Border)
Southeastern Arizona (I-10 East and US60 South to Arizona Border)
Depending on your location, there may be other electric power utilities with facilities in your area. APS recommends that you also contact Salt River Project (SRP) for verification of existing or future power facilities. SRP can be reached at: (602) 236-2872.
