Landscape Planning As a Builder or Contractor, the main focus in design of landscape is for added features to the property. Newly planted trees may appear to have adequate clearance from an overhead power line, but they can grow into these lines and cause power outages. Location of your plants should be considered when near power lines. For underground electric service, all padmounted equipment must be kept clear of landscape plantings to ensure APS can open the doors for maintenance.
